The Bemidji State University volleyball team took to the court in the BSU Gymnasium to take on NSIC foe Augustana College Friday night, falling in four sets by a score of 3-1. The Beavers fall to 4-11 (1-6 NSIC) on the season and the Vikings improve to 10-4 (4-2 NSIC).

The Bemidji State University volleyball team rallied down 2-0 to pick up a third set victory over No. 7 Southwest Minnesota State University but was unable to stop the Mustangs in the fourth set losing 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in Marshall, Minn. The Beavers fall to 4-10 (1-5 NSIC). SMSU improves to 10-3 (4-1 NSIC) with their only conference loss coming last night to No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth.

The Bemidji State University volleyball team hung with nationally-ranked Minnesota State University, Mankato for nearly three sets, but the Mavericks pulled way to take the match 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-15). The Beavers fall to 4-9 (1-4 NSIC) with Friday’s loss. No. 14 Minnesota State improves to 9-3 (2-2 NSIC).

The No. 14 Minnesota State Mavericks evened up their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference record to 2-2 on Friday, defeating the Bemidji State Beavers, 3-1.

In the first set, both teams battled back-and-forth to find themselves tied at 18. A block by junior middle blocker Jill Storlie triggered a 7-1 run for Minnesota State, who won the set, 25-19.

The Bemidji State University volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-13) to the No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on Tuesday night at Romano Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn. The Bulldogs hit .344 to the Beavers’ .041 hitting percentage led by reigning Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Offensive Player of the Week Kate Lange’s 13 kills. The Bulldogs improve to an unblemished 12-0 (4-0 NSIC). BSU falls to 4-8 (1-3 NSIC).
