College Volleyball: Minnsota sweeps through Iowa State Tournament

The Minnesota volleyball team went 4-0 to win the Iowa State Tournament on Saturday.

Minnesota did not drop a set in the Iowa State Tournament, as it defeated North Dakota State (25-20, 25-20), Northern Iowa (32-30, 25-17), Kansas State (25-17, 25-22) and host Iowa State (25-16, 25-18).

The Golden Gophers are now 6-0 in their spring season. Minnesota also defeated Arizona State and the Calgary Dinos last week.

Minnesota will host 2009 National Finalist Texas on Saturday, Apr 10 at 7 p.m. in the Sports Pavilion. The Golden Gophers will also host 2009 Regional Finalist Nebraska on Saturday, Apr. 24 at 4 p.m.
