Girls Basketball: Noga, state-ranked Parkers Prairie sinks Verndale 84-33

Sari Noga drained a game-high 33 points—including five from beyond the arc—as third-ranked Parkers Prairie blew past the host Verndale Lady Pirates 84-33 Thursday.

The Panthers also got 25 points—and four three pointers—from Madison Dorn and Kaylee Dorn added 10.

Parkers Prairie ended up connecting 11 shots from downtown to scorch the Lady Pirates, and carried a comfortable 43-13 lead at halftime.

Jordy Schluttner led Verndale with a team-high nine points while Elizabeth Johnson added 8.

Verndale (3-15) travels to Underwood at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
