Derrick Rude pitched a complete game and three Sebeka errors provided all the runs Wadena-Deer Creek needed in Tuesday’s 2-1 non-conference victory.
Sebeka jumped to a 1-0 lead in the opening inning when Cody Pulju led off the frame with a single and later scored on Brenen Brockpahler’s RBI groundout.
The Wolverines tied the game in the bottom of the third. Jake Rude laced a two-out double and scored when the Trojans outfielder misplayed the ball on a Derrick Rude hit.
Colter Pettit, who led off the fifth inning with a single, scored the game-winning run off another Sebeka error.
Derrick Rude struck out 11 and walked one while limiting Sebeka to four hits in the game. Pulju went 2-for-3 and Travis Titcomb was 1-for-3 with a double for the Trojans.
Kenny Sakry had two of the Wolverines seven hits in the victory.
