Prep Girls Basketball: Lady Trojans topple Bertha-Hewitt in conference tilt, 69-31

Bertha, Minn.—Alicia Boe netted a game-high 22 points and dished out 11 assists as Sebeka toppled Bertha-Hewitt 69-31 during Tuesday’s Park Region Conference game.

The Lady Trojans raced to a 25-point lead at halftime (45-20) and outscored the Bears 24-11 in the second half to pick up their first conference victory of the season.

The Lady Trojans converted eight of 17 attempts from beyond the arc with Boe and Jasmine Titcomb netting four apiece. Titcomb finished with 16 points while Jessica Lillquist registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Arei Stokes led Bertha-Hewitt with a team-high 10 points in the loss.

Sebeka (2-1) faces undefeated and host Menahga at 8 p.m. Friday as part of the boys-girls Park Region Conference doubleheader.
