Prep Girls Golf: Harrison leads Lady Wolverines to 10th at home invite

Ella Harrison shot an 100 to help lead the Lady Wolverines into 10th-place during the 12-team WDC Invitational held at the Whitetail Run Golf Course on Thursday.

Savannah Stone fired an 83 to capture medalist honors as Pequot Lakes finished sixth overall in the team standings. Detroit Lakes won the meet with 342 points.

Other Lady Wolverine scorers include Paige Hartman, who was two strokes behind Harrison with 102 and Hope Theisen at 103. Breanna Speed card a 108 to round out WDC’s 413. Amanda Kramer finished with 111.

Emily Israelson shot an 86, which was good for sixth place as Staples-Motley came in fourth in the team standings with 374.

Other area schools in the Beyond the Bleachers coverage area that placed include runner-up Alexandria (364), third-place Perham (371) and fifth-place Park Rapids Area (380). Fergus Falls was 11th (429) and United North Central fielded an incomplete team.
