Prep Softball: White fans 14 as Menahga blanks Lake Park-Audubon 3-0

Menahga’s junior pitching sensation Lindsey White ran her consecutive shutout streak to 14 innings Thursday afternoon when the Lady Braves defeated Lake Park-Audubon 3-0 in the North Subsection 6A quarterfinals.

White tossed a three-hitter and fanned 14 batters in six innings. She also backed up her performance on the hill, going 2-for-3 with a triple at the plate.

Jenny Haatja also rapped out a pair of hits and drove in a run as the third-seeded Lady Braves advanced to the subsection title game against No. 1 Hawley.

Christine McIntire went 2-for-3 with a double, and suffered the pitching loss for the seventh-seeded Raiders.
