Prep Volleyball: 2010 Heart O’ Lakes All-Conference Team

Kaylee Pender of conference champion Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton was named the Heart O’ Lakes Conference Most Valuable Player.
The Lady Rebels (24-6), who lost to eventual state champion Wadena-Deer Creek in the Section 8AA title game, had five volleyball players garner all-conference honors.
Senior libero Kim Brinkman and sophomore setter Mandy Mercil joined Pender on the HOL All-Conference team. Honorable mentions went to senior hitters Abby Yliniemi and Andrea Ricard.
Barnesville (22-7) and Perham (16-10), which finished second and third respectively in the conference also landed five players on the all-conference teams.
Making the HOL All-Conference team for the Yellowjackets were senior libero Kaylan Huber and junior hitters Katrina Moenkedick and Brooke Mickelson. Seniors Mary Guck (setter) and Kelli Meehl (outside hitter) were named to the HOL Honorable-mention squad.
Seniors Kristi Smith was All-Conference and Sadie Stender was Honorable-mention for Frazee (14-14)
