Jackie Imsande posted a team-high five kills along with three blocks during her return to the court, but it wasn’t enough for New York Mills during Thursday’s 25-17, 25-19 and 25-10 Park Region Conference loss to Bertha-Hewitt.
“Tonight was a team adjustment with getting our injured players back on the floor,” said New York Mills head coach Amy Koskela,
Also making her return for the Lady Eagles was Brooke Kupfer, who collected a team-high 11 digs in the backcourt.
Tori Kempenich rattled off three ace serves and Taylor Geiser added four kills and six digs. The Lady Eagles collected 44 defensive digs during the match with Lexie Rankka tallying eight and Ellie Rutten seven. Rankka also had 15 setting assists in the loss.
New York Mills (3-7-1) heads to Wadena-Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
