Prep Volleyball: Lady Pirates stung by Henning

Teresa Moenkedick registered eight kills, 16 digs and four blocks, but it wasn’t enough as Henning swept the Lady Pirates 25-9, 25-12, 25-7 during Thursday’s Park Region Conference match.

Jordyn Glenz notched a team-high 11 blocks to go with her nine digs and two kills with Jordanna Schluttner adding seven kills, one set assist, two digs and 10 blocks.

Sarah Moenkedick paced the Lady Pirates offense with 13 set assists and contributed five digs and six blocks in the loss.

Verndale (3-5) will participate in the Ulen-Hitterdal Tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday
