Prep Volleyball: Lady Wolverines place two on State Class AA All-Tournament Team

The Wadena-Deer Creek volleyball team had two players that were named All-Tournament after the Lady Wolverines won the State Class AA consolation championship on Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center.
Kelsi Crawford and Courtney Volkmann, both juniors, were chosen for the nine-person team presented by Wells-Fargo and the Minnesota State High School League.
The team was selected by a panel of coaches attending the tournament. The League re-introduced the All-Tournament Team in 1990.
Volkmann was also named to the 2009 All-State Team with along with Verndale’s Jessica Finck and Parker Prairie’s Sari Noga.
