Prep Volleyball: Menahga sweeps Pillager

Menahga used solid teamwork to post back-to-back victories for the first time since last October with the 25-19, 25-17 and 25-20 sweep of Pillager during Thursday’s Park Region Conference match.
Delanie Weyer paced the Lady Braves’ offense with 18 setting assists and the senior also collected a team-high seven digs to go along with her one kill, one ace serve and a block during the victory.
Both Jenny Skoog and Tarah Cleveland notched seven kills for Menahga, who improved to 4-8 on the season.
Also contributing for the Lady Braves were Alicia Ahlf with five kills, one ace serve and one set assist. Arielle Pihlaja added three kills, six digs and a team-high three blocks.
Menahga travels to Frazee at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
