Prep Wrestling: State Wrestling: Coaches seed state wrestling teams

Coaches have completed the seeding process for the top four seeds of the 2011 State Wrestling Tournament and the pairings have been drawn for their opponents in the team competition, the Minnesota High School League (MSHSL) announced this afternoon.

Defending state champions Jackson County Central (Class A), Simley (Class AA) and Apple Valley (Class AAA) all return and received the number one seeds in their respective classes.

Section 8A Champion Frazee (19-3) was seeded No. 3 and will face the Section 6A Champion Border West Buccaneers (24-5) in the quarterfinals that start at 9 a.m. Thursday. March 3.

The completed brackets with seeded teams and opponents are now available and can be viewed here: CLASS A, CLASS AA, CLASS AAA

The team competiton of the tournament will be completed in one day on Thursday, March 3.
