Sioux Falls, S.D.--University of Sioux Falls head women's basketball coach Travis Traphagen is pleased to announce the signing of Alicia Boe to the 2012 recruiting class.
Alicia Boe is a senior at Sebeka High school in Sebeka, Minn. Listed at 6'1"; she averaged 18 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.2 steals and two blocks per game from the point guard position last season.
"Alicia is extremely athletic and her ability to score off the dribble, or post up in the paint makes her a great fit in our offense," said Traphagen. "She had a lot of schools after her and we are thrilled she made the decision to become a Cougar".
As a junior, Boe became the ninth Sebeka girls basketball player to reach the 1,000 point milestone, when she recorded a double-double 25 points and 14 rebounds to help the Trojans past Nevis. She reached the 20 point mark four times last season to help Sebeka reach the Minnesota Class "A" state tournament quarterfinals.
