Former Viking Chris Doleman elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Eden Prairie, MN (February 4, 2012) - Former Vikings DE/LB Chris Doleman was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. Chosen by the Hall’s Board of Selectors, Doleman joins 10 former Vikings who have also earned the prestigious honor. He will be enshrined in Canton on Saturday, August 4, 2012.

Minnesota Vikings game with Denver moved to Noon on FOX

Eden Prairie, MN (November 21, 2011) – The NFL announced that the Week 13 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Denver Broncos has been moved to Noon CST .

The game will be broadcast by FOX (KMSP-TV). The December 4th contest was originally scheduled to kickoff at 3:05 p.m. on CBS.

Mall of America Field to begin use of handheld metal detectors this Sunday for Vikings-Raiders game

Eden Prairie, MN (November 16, 2011) – As part of the National Football League’s ongoing efforts to increase fan safety and security, the Minnesota Vikings will begin using handheld metal detectors for entrance to the Vikings-Raiders game at Mall of America Field this Sunday, November 20.

Vikings launch media campaign on stadium efforts; ads to televise during tonight's MNF game

Eden Prairie, MN (November 14, 2011) – The Minnesota Vikings will kick off a broader media campaign on the team’s stadium efforts during tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup in Green Bay. Fans watching the Vikings-Packers game on either KARE 11 or ESPN will see television ads based on the team’s stadium advocacy video unveiled on Saturday, November 5.

Eden Prairie, MN (November 2, 2011) – The Vikings are concerned about the turn of events surrounding a stadium solution in Minnesota. While we have been encouraged by the efforts of Governor Dayton and the four caucus leaders to seriously discuss this issue, these recent developments are very disappointing. The Vikings stadium issue has been heavily debated in the public for over 10 years.
