The 37th Annual Minnesota High School All-Star Football Game will be played on Saturday June 26 at Husky Stadium on the campus of St. Cloud  State University. The kick-off will be at 7:00 PM. This will be the sixth year that St. Cloud State University has hosted the All-Star Football Game.

Staples-Motley led the Classic Conference with six players selected to the all-conference team, with Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton adding five to the honor roll.

Three team champions return this Saturday (November 7) when the Minnesota State
High School League's 2009 State Girls' and Boys' Cross Country Running Meet is conducted at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

The Adrian girls are in the hunt for their fifth title in Class A, and the Eden Prairie girls are looking to make it two in a row in Class AA. The boys of Wayzata are in the hunt for their third consecutive Class AA championship.

The Class 3A ninth-ranked Perham Yellowjackets football team survived a dogfight with fifth-ranked Staples-Motley in the Section 8AAA semifinals on Saturday night, winning 16-14 to advance to the section championship game on Friday.
 
Both teams fought tooth and nail for each scoring chance, with the exception of Dylan Hales, who returned a kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown for the Cardinals in the third quarter after Perham had just gone ahead 16-8.
