Sebeka, Minn.—Jake Krause went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs to help lift Wadena-Deer Creek past Sebeka 4-2 in Monday’s non-conference game.

Wadena-Deer Creek scored four runs in the third inning to erase a 2-0 deficit.

Prep Softball: Sebeka earns walk off victory over Menahga, 5-4

Sebeka, Minn.—For the second time this season, the Park Region Conference softball game between Sebeka and Menahga came down to the wire.

Brett Brockpahler drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Lady Trojans the 5-4 walk off victory.

The Wadena-Deer Creek boys tennis home triangular with Detroit Lakes and Crookston at 1 p.m. has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

The Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale basebll doubleheader with Menahga at 4 p.m. has been postponed until Thursday, May 3rd.

Prep Girls Golf: Strong effort lands Wadena-Deer Creek in seventh at Park Rapids Invite

Park Rapids, Minn.—The top four scorers for Wadena-Deer Creek notched cards under the century mark as the Lady Wolverines went on to finish seventh at the Park Rapids Invitational on Monday.

Ella Harrison paced the Lady Wolverines with a season-low 91, while Paige Hartman improved by two strokes with a 92. Heather Theisen and Breanna Speed both shot 97 to help the Lady Wolverines to a team-best 377.

Sebeka, Minn.—Sebeka used a four-run sixth to hand Verndale an 8-4 loss during Tuesday’s Park Region Conference contest.

The host Lady Trojans jumped up front in the opening frame when Shelby Pulju ripped a double that scored Katie Brockpahler and Jessica Lillquist for the 2-0 lead.
