Brookings, S.D. – South Dakota State University used the hot shooting of Jill Young and went on to defeat St. Cloud State 74-35 in the season opener for both teams Friday night in Brookings.

The Jackrabbites shot over 50 percent from the field and 62 percent from beyond the arc and jumped out to a 12-0 start.
