St. Charles, Minn.—Cheyenne Losey led Kingsland with 12 points and Lizzie Tart added 10 as the Lady Knights lost a 50-49 squeaker to St. Charles in a Three Rivers Conference game Thursday.
Kingsland led 28-21 at the break, but the Fighting Saints rallied in the second half to pick up their seventh victory in the past 10 games after starting the season 1-10.

Prep Girls Basketball: Lady Trojans clobber Pillager, 78-20

Sebeka, Minn.—Sebeka had four players post double figures en route to Tuesday’s 78-20 Park Region Conference rout of the visiting Pillager Huskies.
Alicia Boe led all scorers with 19 points, followed by Brett Brockpahler with 16, Jessica Lillquist 13 and Logan Redetzke with 11.
The Lady Trojans led 60-8 at halftime and remain perfect in the conference with an 8-0 record.
Prep Girls Basketball: Lady Wolverines’ sink Detroit Lakes, 40-21

Wadena, Minn.—Emily Miron led all scorers with 17 points as Wadena-Deer Creek broke open a tight defensive battle with 32 points in the second half during Tuesday’s 40-21 Mid-State Conference win over Detroit Lakes.
Both teams struggled to get going in the first half. The Lady Wolverines went into the locker room leading by single point, 8-7.

Prep Girls Basketball: Menahga slips past Browerville, 56-43

Browerville, Minn.—Tarah Cleveland poured in 24 points and Jenny Skoog added 11 as Menahga picked up its second straight win during Monday’s 56-43 non-conference win over Browerville.
Cleveland also dished out a team-high six assists and Arielle Pihlaja knocked down eight points, eight boards and a team-high six blocks against the Tigers. Beth Tormanen had eight of the Lady Braves’ 16 steals in the game.

Adams, Minn.—Four players scored in double figures but it wasn’t enough for Kingsland to get past Southland during Monday’s 64-52 Three Rivers Conference matchup.
