Courtney Volkmann dropped 16 points as Wadena-Deer Creek won their sixth straight game over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 52-34 in non-conference play Monday.

Wadena-Deer Creek led by three at the break, 24-21, but outscored the Lady Rebels in the second half. The Lady Wolverines only turned the ball over six times in the victory.

“We couldn’t have asked the girls to play a better game overall,” Wadena-Deer Creek head coach Brian Silbernick said. “They shot well, played exceptionally great defense, and really took care of the basketball.”
